Mediautor

MEDIAUTOR is a project developed by the INSTITUTO AUTOR that offers a mediation service specialised in conflicts arising in the field of cultural creations and projects, specifically related to intellectual property and cultural industries, as well as in relation to disputes over image rights.

MEDIAUTOR’s main vocation is to offer a highly specialised service, affordable to anyone who needs it, regardless of their financial situation.

In June 2022, the INSTITUTO AUTOR signed a collaboration agreement with WIPO concerning the promotion of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). As a result of this agreement, MEDIAUTOR and the WIPO Center developed Mediation Rules  (“the MEDIAUTOR-WIPO Rules”) to resolve national and international intellectual property and related disputes. The mediation proceedings are administered jointly by INSTITUTO AUTOR and the WIPO Center.
