RESEARCH STUDIES ON INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Antonio Delgado Award (PAD) was created in 2012 with the aim of encouraging and rewarding research studies on issues related to copyright and related rights. The award honours the memory and legacy of Antonio Delgado Porras, founder of the Instituto Autor, who was one of the main drafters of the preliminary draft of the Intellectual Property Law. His commitment to the development and protection of intellectual property led him to play a very important role in the development of much of the legislation in Latin America, especially in the field of collective management.
The year 2021 saw the creation of the “Intellectual Property Disclosure Award” category, an award that recognises individuals or legal entities for their work and activity in the dissemination of Intellectual Property and/or support for authors’ rights.
